In the same year, Sheikh Ahmed served as the Chairman of Emirates Airlines, Dubai’s international airline. He is now the Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, which includes dnata – one of the world’s leading providers of air services and travel services, and other aviation related entities.
In 2019, DXB connected more than 240 destinations on more than 100 airlines across six continents for 86.4 million passengers. The dynamic airport of DXB actually connects the entire world.
Airport Facilities
DXB’s world-class facilities include the $1.2 billion Concourse D, a state of the art facility serving all international airlines that operate into Terminal 1, Concourse A – the world’s first and largest purpose-built A380 facility that is one of the three Concourses used exclusively by Emirates airline, as well as Terminal 2.
